Technically this is 3 weeks and one day, because I didn't get any pictures the day before...oops.  However, on this day she rolled over from belly to back 3 times on her own and she was caught smiling several times at Hayden and Mom.

First Days at Home for Elise

 Elise's first days at home were snuggled inside because of the foot of snow that was outside.  We had the company of her Aunt Michelle and at times her Grandma B.  Aunt Michelle took time to play in the snow with Hayden and Clare while she was here.  Hayden and Clare were curious little siblings that first week and the poor girl couldn't hardly catch a nap around everyone downstairs.  We got to break out the baby props one more time with Elise.  So you see her taking in the play mat  and snoozing in the swing.  She was a pretty quiet baby (at least during the day) during the first week.

Our little Elise Kathryn joined us Wednesday, February 20th at 3:17 pm.  She was 8 pounds 5 ounces and 20 1/2 inches.  We coaxed her out a few days after her due date and good thing because she was a pound heavier than either of her siblings.  She was also born on the eve of a big snowstorm.  Daddy was stuck at the hospital with me for 2 1/2 days while Grandma B stayed with Hayden and Clare.  The whole family was so excited to finally meet her.
